Eugene Matthias is the only 'Magical Toastmaster' in the country. He has for the last few years officiated as Toastmaster at the Graduation Days for Milton Keynes College. In addition he has hosted their 'Student of the Year' Awards Ceremony, Speech days and their annual business networking event. (see pictures below)

Having a Toastmaster

- At the beginning of the day Eugene meets & greets guests with a warm welcome.
- He explains to everyone what will be happening during the day and where to go when he gavels up - so timings are kept.
- It not only impresses both parents and students, but they feel important and valued.
- Everyone (including parents) loves having their photos taken with the Toastmaster, giving more memories of the day.
- Some students are worried and feel under pressure, Eugene relax's them by talking to them and has some fun with magic.
- On the day he works closely alongside your college events team (see recommendations below).
- Eugene will liaise with all suppliers on hand.
- Works with the photographer for the photo calls.
- Make all announcements throughout the event.
Eugene will take control of hosting the event from escorting the honoured guest at the beginning to the stage. Introducing the speakers for the event and presentations and make sure timings are kept. Finally escorting the honoured guests out.
He will they announce what will happen next and where everyone has to go. Finally he will bring the event to an end with vote of thanks to the College and anyone who he has been asked to thank.
Eugene is unique being the only Magical Toastmaster in the country so he brings fun and laughter to all occasions. In addition he works with his wife Sheila also a professional Toastmaster therefore brings twice the amount of professional support to your events.

Firstly, he joined us at our inaugural HND/HNC graduation event, which was held at Woburn Sculpture Gallery. Eugene's presence really added to the great sense of occasion in this wonderful venue and I know the students, their parents and our staff were very impressed with his ability to organise the large numbers in attendance, each with their own responsibilities on the day.
The second occasion was to celebrate the first anniversary of our Business and Leadership Centre and saw over 100 businesses joining us. Eugene was instrumental in ensuring that everything went to plan, no mean feat considering the event was held over two floors and involved everything from live music (on both floors), presentations, awards and food! On behalf of staff and students at Langdon, I would like to thank you and all those at Lakeview Marquee for ensuring "Prom Night" was a huge success. Staff and students were overwhelmed by your fantastic marquee, the stunning setting, the great food and impeccable service you and your staff provided. Your attention to detail and those lovely extra touches made it a fantastic night for all who attended.
Eugene I would also like to thank you for your services. You were amazing, your presence took the pressure off me and, I was, as you assured me on the telephone yesterday, able to relax and enjoy the evening. Students spoke very warmly about your presence and were also overwhelmed by the many magical tricks you performed in the reception area, whilst they waited to be seated.
